The short version

This site has no accounts, runs no shop and takes no payment. The only personal information it ever holds is whatever you choose to put in an email to us.

Collected automatically

Our host keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and a timestamp. That is ordinary web server behaviour, used for security and to see which pages get read. We also use a privacy-respecting page-view measurement that reports totals and does not build a profile of you.

Cookies

No advertising cookie and no tracking cookie originates on this domain. If your browser holds a cookie after you follow an order link, the merchant set it on their own domain and their policy governs it.

Email

If you write to us we keep the message so we can reply and refer back to it. We do not add you to any mailing list, we do not sell or rent contact details, and correspondence is deleted once it is no longer needed.

Once you click an order button

You leave this domain. From that point your name, address, card details and order history are collected and held by the merchant processing the sale. We never see them and never receive them. Their privacy policy applies.

Third parties

Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads. Beyond that one request, nothing outside this domain is embedded anywhere in these pages.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Email hello@thejointsaid.com and we will deal with it. Given how little there is to hand over, that exchange is normally over quickly.

Children

These pages are written for adults and aimed at nobody below the age of 18, and we do not knowingly take in anything belonging to a child.

Changes

Any revision to this page moves the date printed at the top of it.
